Youtube tags

Hi,

When you want to post a video, I clicked on the youtube BB tags and posted my post, but it didn't show the video embedded, it showed the link to the video with [youtube][/youtube] tags around it. Can you help?

Try to do like this.
You got a normal link, for example this one "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1K7jdyfi70M&feature=player_embedded" so you copy the numbers and letters who are before the v= until &, in this case this numbers 1K7jdyfi70M and then you put this numbers in side of the Youtube tag's.

I do very much what Bruno has just explained and always seems to work for me

i use a more simple bbcode on my board, you just have to copy the main link of the video, & insert it inside balises,
i can send you the code if you want (admin panel edition):

BBCode usage :
[video]{TEXT}[/video]

HTML replacement :
<script type="text/javascript" src="video.php?link={TEXT}"></script>

Help line :
[video]URL[/video]

The you tube links are always the same. Only the video reference changes and thats the only thing you need to paste inside the forum tags.
